Many things have changed since 1975, when SOLMARTOUR was created Back then tourism in Peru was still in its early days. The Inca Trail was hiked by just a few people, there were no travelers in Colca Canyon or in Pacaya Samiria and nobody imagined the riches of the tomb of the Lord of Sipan or the majesty of Choquequirao. What has not changed is the personalized attention and the quality of service offered by SOLMARTOUR. We have climbed mountains, we have ventured into unknown jungles, there have been good times and bad, but we have grown as a company and we have consolidated our operations to become one of the most trusted travel agencies in Peru. We were pioneers in many routes and we learned, together with our travelers, about the textures and colors of this Andean nation. As the Greek poet Constantine Kavafis said: «Pray that the road is a long one» because «one does not arrive in Ithaca, one travels there». We are on that journey. We have learned a great deal along the way and we now bring that experience to the service we offer the tourists who visit us, so that they can enjoy their own unique journey in this marvelous territory known as Peru.
