NEW SITE MUSEUM OF PACHACAMAC
Located at the Archaeological Sanctuary of Pachacamac, in the city of Lima. The museum quadruples the size of the one before. It has an area for expositions of 1000 square meters, an auditorium, ample zones for investigation and deposit of pieces, laboratories, a coffee shop, and places for the selling of articles with sanctuary decals. At present, in this modern structure, 277 Pre-Hispanic pieces, mainly of ceramic, wood and metal, as well as textiles are exhibited. There are panels with explanations of the main attractions of the Sanctuary like the one of the Acllahuasi (The House of the Chosen Women). Visiting hours are: Tuesdays to Saturdays from 09.00 to 16.30 and on Sundays from 09.00 to 15.30.
